MICHAEL T. SOBUS, Ph.D.

Dr. Sobus has over 28 years of proven experience in marketing, sales, team leadership, management, training, product development, HR, business startups and business turnarounds.

Dr. Sobus has graduate degrees in Business from Wharton School at Unversity of Pennsylvania, Theology from Weston and Biochemistry from University of Maryland.  Awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship from Harvard University where he worked under the direction of Nobel laureate Konrad Bloch. Published original research in peer-reviewed journals and has been granted 3 US patents.

In 2008 he founded Next Level Business Development, a business coaching firm located on the North Shore. Based on the philosophy that there is more to business than just passion, Next Level Business Development helps owners of closely-held businesses understand what is holding back the growth of their business and implement strategies and structures to take their business to the next level of profitability.

Maryanne Pierce, LSW

Maryanne will serve as advisor on Public benefits for Seniors and disabled clients. Maryanne is a Social Services Coordinator for the Peabody Council on Aging and is a Licensed Social Worker, and a Shine Counselor(Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders).   She has worked with MADIP for several years to ensure the emergency needs of the senior community are met. 

Her experience and advocacy have resulted in seniors getting access to and saving money on housing, medical, and energy programs. Her extensive knowledge in city, state, and federal benefits for seniors will enable MADIP to make sound decisions on issues relevant to senior programs.
